Rehabilitation Modalities
Our comprehensive evaluation will provide both the doctor and the audiologist with
important information about the patient's inner ear balance system as well as the
potential for rehabilitation.
Our recommendations will take into account your patient's medical condition, lifestyle,
and other individual needs. If a vestibular disorder is present, vestibular rehabilitation
therapy (VRT) will be recommended. Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), one of the
most common peripheral vestibular disorders, is particularly responsive to particle
repositioning maneuvers as evidenced by a 98% treatment efficacy. Physical therapy will
be recommended when appropriate.
Note: After the testing is completed, patients and all reports will be referred back
to their physician.
