A completely new range of hearing aids bringing proven
Widex Integrated Signal Processing technology to the mid-range sector. AIKIA

Detailed Sound Analysis
The Detailed Sound Analysis system is a unique way of processing sound. It ensures
that all functions in the hearing aid are calculated using the same information
enabling automatic adaptation to match the user's specific profile. The system
also incorporates the Spatial feedback tracer, an extra weapon in the fight
against feedback, as well as the Sound Diary with data logging, to facilitate
the fitting process.
Flexible Sound Processing
The Flexible Sound Processing system helps improve hearing in noise. Designed to
enhance speech and attenuate noise, it ensures a high degree of speech
intelligibility and comfort.
The system includes the 10-band directional microphone system - the AIKIA Locator.
This improves the signal-to-noise ratio and allows the user to focus on speech,
regardless of the direction of origin. Enhanced Dynamic Range Compression (EDRC),
the well-known Widex amplification strategy, makes soft sounds become audible
and distant speech easier to hear.
Automatic System Optimiser
All systems and processes in the AIKIA hearing aid operate optimally according
to the user's needs and wishes. It has a selection of listening programs
that can be tailored to the user's individual lifestyle. Thanks to automatic
Multi-point microphone matching, the ideal directional performance is guaranteed
at all times.
Even with AIKIA's level of sophistication, users are provided with a very long
battery life thanks to EcoTech II technology. The Automatic System Optimiser
also enables the optional use of the Widex RC3 remote control.
Technologically unique in its class, AIKIA hearing aids are simple to fit and use,
yet offer great flexibility, precision and comfort. The range is available now
and spans five different models, from CIC to Power and BTE.
